Helene and her daughter, Mona, were lucky enough to stay at the Georges V several years ago, so Helene was anxious to visit it again. After a 20 minute wait, we did get a seat in the bar and enjoyed a glass of champagne. It was expensive - but someone has to pay for all of the floral arrangements.
From there, we took a taxi to Laiterie, a restaurant that Deanna's daughter, Ariane, recommended from her recent trip to Paris. When we arrived there were a lot of empty tables, but they filled up fast and we had a rollicking good time and delicious food.
